Apprenticeship scheme at Autonnic - September 07, 2011

Autonnic continues to invest in it’s workforce to improve skills and professional development. Mitch Wright, an employee at Autonnic, has started an apprenticeship scheme at Colchester Institute in Engineering.

Colchester Institute National Apprenticeship Scheme is a work-based learning programme that enables the student to earn while gaining experience and skills that lead to nationally recognised qualifications, improving career prospects and widening their skills.

Mitch comments “The apprentice scheme has enabled me to do more at work and enhance my skills. I am introduced to new techniques at College and then I am able to practice them at work. I enjoy practical based learning and this scheme supports my learning approach and gives a framework for my company to train me”
